DALLAS, Texas — A fugitive from Arizona was apprehended by the Dallas Police Department’s Downtown Task Force while allegedly selling drugs in the 400 block of North Lamar Street on June 27, 2025.
Officers observed 33-year-old Dencel Idris, of Arizona, conducting a drug transaction before he attempted to flee, leading to his arrest.
Idris was found with approximately 26 grams of cocaine and was wanted on multiple felony warrants from Arizona, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.
