Tragedy in Arlington: Credit Champs Founder Fatally Shot by Alleged Ex-Girlfriend During Haircut
Yesterday morning (July 11, 2025), a devastating incident unfolded at the Salon and Spa Galleria in Arlington, Texas. Thus, resulting in the death of Credit Champs CEO Todd Austin. Authorities have confirmed that the 37-year-old businessman was shot multiple times while receiving a haircut by his ex-girlfriend, 37-year-old T’Mone Michelle Williams, who later turned the gun on herself.
Business Leader Targeted During Routine Visit
According to the Arlington Police Department, Williams entered the salon, located in the 7800 block of South Cooper Street, around 10:15 a.m. Surveillance and eyewitness reports indicate she walked directly to the barber suite where Austin was getting a haircut and opened fire. Williams attempted to flee the scene upon noticing arriving officers. However, she ultimately re-entered the building and fatally shot herself.
Austin was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Williams was transported to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to her injuries. The incident is being classified as a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic dispute. Authorities have stated there are no other suspects or threats to the public.
