Woman Arrested in Irving Waffle House Shooting and Robbery Case

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 20-year-old Kendahl Dnaye Williams was arrested by Irving Police officers for her role in a June 7th aggravated robbery and shooting at the Irving Waffle House located at Irving Blvd and Loop 12.

On the morning of the incident, three victims were shot in the Waffle House parking lot and transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital. According to the arrest affidavit provided by Irving PD, surveillance footage and cell phone data revealed that Williams’ black 2023 Chrysler 300 was used to follow and ambush the victims after they left a birthday celebration at local nightclubs. One of the victims, identified in the arrest affidavit as Johnson, had posted videos on Instagram flashing large amounts of cash the night before.

The suspects followed Johnson from a Dallas apartment to the Waffle House. Surveillance footage showed five individuals exiting the black Chrysler 300 and opening fire on the victims as they approached their car. Johnson was seen falling to the ground.
