Fort Worth Stockyards cracks down on horseback riding, threatens fines for riders

The Fort Worth Stockyards is cracking down on how people ride horses in the historic district, with some riders saying this week they’ve been threatened with fines of $250 per horse.

Some longtime riders told NBC 5 they’ve taken their horses into the Stockyards for years, and they feel the increased enforcement could be a blow to Fort Worth’s cowboy culture.
