North Richland Hills couple killed in apparent murder-suicide, police say

A husband and wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in North Richland Hills last week, police said.

On July 10, someone requested a welfare check for a woman after they were unable to contact her, police said. Officers responded to the home in the 3400 block of Wendell Drive, but nobody answered the door or phone.

When the officers were able to get inside, they found 54-year-old Dana Lynne Ross and 55-year-old Carl Arthur Ross dead with gunshot wounds to the head. Detectives are investigating their deaths as a murder-suicide, according to police…
