Drivers across Texas are being urged to put the brakes on their speed as the Euless Police Department joins the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) “Be Safe. Drive Smart” campaign. Launching a crackdown on speedsters, the Euless Police Department will be patrolling with a keen eye between July 18 and August 3, as part of Operation Slowdown, tackling the menace of speeding that is claimed not to save time, but costs lives.
