Country music and community came together in a powerful way Wednesday night as Pat Green and dozens of musicians performed in a special livestream concert to support victims of catastrophic flooding in Central Texas.
The “no audience” concert, held at Globe Life Field in Arlington on July 16, raised more than $1 million for families affected by the deadly floods that struck over the Fourth of July holiday.
Catastrophic flooding leaves hundreds dead or missing
The flooding disaster claimed at least 132 lives and left more than 100 people missing. It devastated communities across Central Texas, with widespread damage to homes, infrastructure and lives.
Among those personally impacted was Pat Green himself. The Texas native lost his brother, sister-in-law and their two young sons while they were on a camping trip during the storm.
