In a recent social media post, the Arlington Police Department reported the results of their Impaired Driving Wave 3 Enforcement campaign. The focused effort, which spanned from June 26 to July 13, saw Arlington PD STEP officers clocking in 110 hours to specifically address traffic safety and accountability on Arlington’s roads.
During this period, officers conducted 195 traffic stops and went on to quickly issue a total of 158 citations. Speeding dominated the list with 75 incidents, while other violations included 4 instances of no seatbelt, 2 child safety seat infractions, and 3 intersection-related offenses.
