A fatal crash involving a pedestrian closed lanes of Texas 360 near Interstate 30 in Arlington for several hours Friday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to the southbound lanes of Texas 360 shortly after 5 a.m. after the driver of a Ford Ranger reported possibly hitting a person. They found a man’s body on the road, according to police. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not clear why the man was on the highway, police said. Investigators believe several vehicles ran over him after he was initially hit. The 911 caller and other drivers who thought they might have hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene, and police don’t anticipate filing any criminal charges…
