Last Thursday’s late afternoon commute turned tragic on Interstate 820 in Haltom City, as a high-speed collision claimed the life of a driver and resulted in temporary road closures. According to an official statement from the Haltom City Police Department, emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene of the accident in the eastbound express lanes around 6:30 PM.
