DALLAS, Texas — A collaborative effort between the Dallas Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety led to the arrest of a drug trafficker and the seizure of a significant amount of drugs and firearms. The operation took place on July 15, 2025, on the 3100 block of Harmon Street.
During the execution of a search warrant, authorities confiscated 2,499.8 grams of THC wax, 7,397 grams of marijuana, 1.3 grams of oxycodone, 252.4 grams of THC edibles, 2.8 grams of Adderall, eight bottles of promethazine, scales, packaging heat sealer, multiple packaging materials, a rifle magazine, a pistol magazine and speed loader, multiple cameras, and a DVR, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.
Ricky Morrison, a 26-year-old from Dallas, Texas, was apprehended after attempting to flee the scene at high speed. Officers stopped him for failing to use a turn signal, leading to his arrest without incident. Morrison faces multiple charges, including Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Failure to Signal Turn, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Driver’s License.
