IRVING, TX — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) – Dallas has arrested Juan Carlos Hernandez-Umaña, a 36-year-old illegal alien and citizen of El Salvador, in connection with the murder of his wife.
On July 17, 2025, at 5:55 p.m., Irving Police officers responded to a report of a deceased individual at Trinity View Park, located along Irving Boulevard near the Elm Fork Trinity River. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a deceased female in a brush-covered area near the entrance of the park. The preliminary investigation indicated the victim had been deceased for several days and had sustained injuries consistent with homicide.
Detectives made a tentative identification of the victim, who had previously been reported missing out of Dallas. Working with the Dallas Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations, Irving detectives identified the suspect as Juan Carlos Hernandez-Umaña…
