Man arrested after firing shots in Deep Ellum amid increased enforcement from DPD

Dallas police say Ryan Jones fired shots just before midnight Saturday, just blocks away from newly imposed street closures.

Just two hours after DPD rolled out its new barriers to shut down certain streets in Deep Ellum at 10 p.m. Saturday night, shots were fired just blocks away from the closures on Virgil Street. The suspect, Ryan Jones, was taken into custody moments later.
