Residents of Arlington with old electronics gathering dust and paper piles needing secure disposal should clear their calendars for the upcoming recycling event. The City of Arlington has announced that it will provide a free paper shredding and electronics recycling opportunity. Set for Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, from 8 a.m. to justly run until 2 p.m., the event will be held at the southeast corner of Mitchell Street and Cooper Street, specifically at the UTA parking lot.
To ensure that the process goes smoothly, attendees should be ready to present proof of Arlington residency. For those planning to dispose of confidential documents, the paper shredding has been limited to two boxes per vehicle.
The convenience doesn’t end with paper; the city is also accepting a wide array of electronic devices for recycling.
