As Texas is faced by the threat of severe storms and flash flooding – just weeks after devastating floods in Kerr County – Gov. Greg Abbott has activated state emergency response resources.
A storm system is expected to move through northwest Texas before sweeping through North Texas later in the week. The southeast part of the state also faces flash flooding potential from heavy rain brought by the system.
