GRAPEVINE, Texas — A 33-year-old man was arrested Sunday after being added to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s 10 Most Wanted Criminals list. Jose Marquina-Bonilla, of Grapevine, Texas, was wanted for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child, a first-degree felony.
Northwest patrol officers conducted a surveillance operation in the 2900 block of Community Drive, where they spotted Marquina-Bonilla’s unoccupied vehicle. Uniformed and covert officers established a perimeter and waited until he entered the vehicle and drove off. A felony traffic stop was initiated, leading to Marquina-Bonilla’s arrest and subsequent transport to jail, according to a press release from the department.
“Our officers, uniformed and covert alike, demonstrate attentiveness and patience every day,” said Executive Assistant Chief Jesse Reyes. “This incident and its outcome clearly show how these skills help them apprehend dangerous criminals and keep our city and our neighboring cities safe.”…
