Tiny puppy brought to Fort Worth shelter arrived wrapped in blanket as penny fell to floor

Meet Copper; this tiny puppy arrived on Tuesday at Fort Worth Animal Care & Control in Texas. The Good Samaritan who brought him in reported the two-month-old puppy had been hit by a car.

Copper arrived wearing a tight leash around his neck; he was so nervous. After all, what’s a two-month-old puppy doing on the street alone?

As the staff and volunteers began to remove the blanket he arrived wrapped in, a penny fell out:
