Winnsboro Police worked an attempt to break into the Armadillo convenience store in the 400 block of West Broadway at 2:00 am on Tuesday. They arrested Alex Latrell Fowler, Jr., of Fort Worth, and continue to look for three other suspects. Parker County wanted Fowler for burglary of a building and engaging in organized criminal activity, with similar charges in Winnsboro. Winnsboro Police Chief Sam Mayer said Winnsboro is working with multiple jurisdictions in their investigation because this is “not a one-time deal” and has been happening in other places.
