WILLOW PARK, Texas — A new Texas Health Resources hospital will serve a booming area of North Texas, the health system announced.
Texas Health Resources will expand its presence in the small town of Willow Park west of Fort Worth with a new hospital expected to open in 2028, according to a press release from the health system. The new hospital will be built near Texas Health Neighborhood Care and Wellness Willow Park and Texas Health Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center Willow Park, the release states.
The area surronding Interstate 20 between west Fort Worth and Weatherford is growing rapidly, thanks in part to a massive housing development and a new college campus under construction there. Walsh Ranch, a residential and commercial development, is expected to house thousands of people by the time the development is finished.
