H-E-B continues to ramp up its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In the company’s latest move, H-E-B purchased about 95 acres in Pilot Point, according to deed records pulled by the Dallas Morning-News.
Pilot Point is located north of Dallas, near Prosper, a suburb that recently celebrated the opening of its first H-E-B store on August 13. The transaction for the Pilot Point parcel, located at the northeast corner of FM 13 and Mustang roads, was closed on Wednesday, August 27, according to the Dallas Morning-News.
Mabrie Jackson, managing director of public affairs for H-E-B and Central Market, told the publication the Pilot Point purchase is a “long-term real estate investment.” However, there are no immediate plans for a store at the location, Jackson added…
