Fort Worth firefighters investigate derailed train at rail yard on West Vickery

Fort Worth firefighters responded to a train derailment at the Davidson rail yard on West Vickery Boulevard Sunday morning when several railcars went off the tracks, officials said.

The derailment happened at the train yard at 4761 W. Vickery Blvd., and firefighters first arrived at about 10:40 a.m. to investigate any potentially hazardous materials inside the cars, according to the 911 call log.
