Arlington’s free event is designed to offer locals a chance to safely get rid of sensitive documents and outdated gadgets. According to a release by the City of Arlington, the event will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., or until the shredding truck reaches capacity, whichever comes first. It’s essential to note that proof of Arlington residency is a must for participation, and trailers are a no-go at the UTA parking location.
For paper shredding, there’s a stringent limit – just two boxes per vehicle. These should be the size of a standard cardboard banker’s box, nothing larger.
