NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — An 18-year-old from Fort Worth is being transported to Tarrant County Jail on nine charges, including murder, following a deadly shooting, according to North Richland Hills police. The charges stem from an incident early Sunday morning on Airport Freeway.
Tychriston Reed, age 18, of Fort Worth, is facing charges that include murder, two counts of aggravated assault against a public servant, four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of reckless endangerment of a child. These charges may change after Reed’s appearance before a judge at Tarrant County, stated the North Richland Hills Police Department.
The investigation revealed that two other 18-year-olds initially arrested were not involved in the murder of 21-year-old DaShayla Jones, of Dallas. They remain in custody on unrelated charges, according to the police.
