For anyone traveling to or from one of the busiest airports in Texas, they might feel a bit peckish from time to time. Luckily, one of the most popular chicken shop chains in the nation will be soon be meeting Lone Star State flyers at their airport gates.
While not born in Texas, the Baton Rouge-based Raising Cane’s has become a favorite of Texans all over the state. Soon, travelers flying out of or into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport will have an $800,000 Raising Cane’s all to themselves, the first Cane’s to set up shop at a major Texas airport, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
The Dallas Business Journal first confirmed the development in May, but the TDLR filed on Thursday, September 18, has the 3,030-square-foot restaurant aiming to begin construction on November 1 and be completed by April 23, 2026. All TDLR filings are subject to change without notice…
