ALACHUA, Fla. – Deandre Deshawn Davis, 40, of Arlington, Texas, was arrested this morning on I-75 on active warrants and charged with grand theft of a vehicle and driving without a valid license.
At about 8:54 a.m. on October 1, Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies learned that a white Kia sedan, reported stolen out of Arlington, Texas, was traveling northbound on I-75 near Micanopy. Deputies staged at various exits along I-75 in Alachua County, and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted about a mile south of the Alachua exit (mile marker 398).
