DALLAS — The Dallas Zoo’s newest arrival is a healthy male giraffe, the zoo announced in a press release.
The 5’8, 156-pound baby giraffe was born Sept. 24 to his mother Katie and father Tebogo, the zoo said. He was quick to stand on his feet and nurse before quickly taking a walk around the barn.
Both mom Katie and the calf are doing well, zoo officials said. The zoo did not say precisely when visitors may see the calf in the Giants of the Savanna habitat…
