Texas resident Cecilia Simpson, 41, was shot and killed on October 7 around 1 p.m. outside a PetSmart in Dallas. The incident began when Simpson held the door for murder suspect Keona Zachyua Hampton, 22. When Hampton didn’t say “thank you,” it led to a fight between the two women.
After Hampton continued to follow Simpson and her daughter, Simpson drove to PetSmart and told the employees about the situation. Hampton followed them inside the store.
