An armored truck guard was ambushed and pepper-sprayed during a brazen daylight ATM robbery in DeSoto. The incident, which took place today around 11:30 a.m. near the 200 block of North Hampton Road, involved two suspects directly engaging the guard who was servicing the ATM, and after incapacitating the guard with pepper spray, they seized an undisclosed sum of money, as reported by the DeSoto Police Department’s social media post.
