Texas Man Arrested, Accused of Attempting To Solicit People To Kill ICE Agents

A man living in Dallas, but originally from Mexico is in custody today after being accused of wanting to kill ICE Agents. The arrest comes as tensions continue to escalate between law enforcement and those who are against immigration enforcement.

Man in Texas Allegedly Used TikTok to Solicit ICE Attacks

According to the Dallas Morning News, Eduardo Aguilar, a man from Mexico but living in Dallas, was arrested this week after he allegedly created TikTok videos to solicit people to kill ICE agents.

The 23 year old is now facing charges of “transmitting in interstate ir foreign commerce a communication containing a threat”. The Dallas Morning News reported that Aguilar made his initial court appearance on Wednesday where the judge ordered that he remain in federal custody.

Threats Posted on Social Media

The Dallas Morning News reported that according to court records, Aguilar posted the videos in Spanish on TikTok, which apparently didn’t fool anyone. In the videos he is accused of attempting to recruit others to carry out hits against ICE agents.

According to court records, the Spanish social media post was published on TikTok on Oct. 9 and said “I need 10 dudes in Dallas with determination (guts) who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis],” according to the release. The second phrase in the same post said “10K for each ICE agent.”…
