From downtown to South Dallas, our city is in a remarkable chapter of transformative growth.

On Thursday, Wells Fargo deepened its commitment to Dallas with a $6.8 million philanthropic investment directed toward neighborhood revitalization and economic growth in the Forest District. Community organizations—including Cornerstone Community Development Corporation, St. Philip’s School & Community Center, and Forest Forward—will use this funding to support small business development, affordable housing, job creation, and commercial property rehabilitation, including restoration of the historic Forest Theater.

Wells Fargo has been a trusted Dallas partner for decades, but this announcement shows a deeper commitment to strengthening local neighborhoods and expanding economic opportunity. Last year, the City of Dallas committed an $8 million grant to Forest Theater’s redevelopment knowing it would encourage economic growth, and Wells Fargo’s commitment to South Dallas shows a clear return on that investment.

The opportunity that defines this city is driven by entrepreneurship, innovation, and strong public-private partnerships.
