In a unique twist on the typical Thanksgiving narrative, the Burleson Police Department in Texas has presented a lineup of individuals they’ve dubbed the “Mayflower Crew,” which includes 11 wanted faces and a full-size turkey. This creative approach comes at a moment when law enforcement agencies across the nation are increasingly turning to social media to engage their local communities in police matters.
According to the Burleson Police Department, three members of this so-called Mayflower Crew had already been apprehended prior to the notice going public. The remaining eight, along with the turkey, which is presumably a playful nod to the holiday spirit, are still at large.
