FORT WORTH, Texas — After a long, weather-delayed journey from Michigan, the 79th Annual Fort Worth Community Christmas Tree has officially arrived in North Texas.
The towering Norway spruce, standing 86 feet tall, reached Sundance Square on Thursday, one day later than planned.
According to organizers, the more than 1,200-mile trip took four days as the transport truck encountered multiple delays, largely due to snowy conditions along the route. The tree will spend the night in Sundance Square Plaza before its installation on Friday morning…
