The Texas Department of Transportation is approving almost $300 million in federal funding for 73 new bike and pedestrian projects statewide, including several major improvements across North Texas.
The agency announced the awards this week, directing roughly $54.6 million to the Dallas–Fort Worth region for new shared-use paths, sidewalks, and safety upgrades.
