A Tarrant County jury has convicted 22-year-old Jacob Davion Trimm of Fort Worth of possessing fentanyl with intent to deliver, sentencing him to 20 years in state prison.
The case began on August 2, 2024, when Fort Worth police officers serving an arrest warrant for Trimm, tied to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discovered 2,000 fentanyl pills during the search. Trimm was taken into custody the following day and has remained in the Lon Evans Corrections Center ever since.
Jurors were told that just days before his arrest, Trimm, a documented gang member, shot a drug customer during a deal.
