Frisco and The Colony renters are paying some of the steepest prices in North Texas, according to new data tracking apartment costs across the Dallas–Fort Worth region.
A recent Zumper report shows that both North Texas cities now sit at the top of the list for monthly rent, continuing a trend fueled by fast growth, demand for newer units and proximity to major employment centers.
Frisco Tops The List
Zumper’s November analysis found that the median price for a one-bedroom apartment in Frisco reached $1,620. That figure matches The Colony, which posted the same average last month.
Two-bedroom apartments in Frisco saw one of the sharper month-to-month jumps in the region, increasing 3.3% to $2,200. In The Colony, two-bedroom units also climbed — though more modestly — up 0.9% to $2,130…
