In an effort to curb reckless driving on their roads, the Arlington Police Department (APD) has once again taken to social media to alert the public of their Safe Roads Initiative. According to a Facebook post by the Arlington Police Department, an incident involving a Mustang GT racing at a staggering 143 MPH resulted in the driver’s arrest for Reckless Driving. The department’s Traffic Unit is intensifying its proactive enforcement efforts, which include traffic monitoring at several specific locations, such as Cooper St., in the South District tonight, and on I-20, I-30, and SH360 last Saturday night.
