A 39-year-old man was killed when a pickup truck slammed into his first-floor apartment in Fort Worth, Texas, while he was believed to be asleep in his bedroom.
Raidel Liranza Alvarez died on Tuesday, Dec. 2, after a red pickup truck crashed into his ground-level unit near the 4600 block of Sycamore School Road, according to KVUE. His sister, who lives nearby, was his only other relative in the state. A neighbor, Donna Phillips, told KVUE that Alvarez likely had been sleeping at the time because he worked night shifts.
