An assault at the Burger King in Irving on Friday afternoon, November 28th, led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Ohio man who now faces multiple felony charges.
At around 3:45 p.m., Irving Police Officer Hawk was dispatched to a reported fight at the Burger King located at 4095 N. Beltline Road, near the intersection with West Walnut Hill Lane. Dispatch advised that a Black male wearing a white hoodie and jeans was seen assaulting another man.
Officer McLaren arrived first and spotted a man matching the description walking away from the restaurant. Police say she gave clear commands for him to stop, but he ran. She chased him toward the Hometown Studio motel at 3340 W. Walnut Hill Lane, where the suspect entered a family memberβs motel room. Officers detained him moments later…
