Fire at Fort Worth residence work of an arsonist, investigators say

A residential fire in Fort Worth on Sunday was deliberately set, according to investigators.

A police report shows that about 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a call in the 300 block of North Hampton Street, north of East Belknap Street between Interstate 35 and the Trinity River.

Upon arrival, crews extinguished a fire coming out of the home’s front door. Fire investigators found combustible material soaked in flammable liquid as well as other traces of flammable liquid in the home…
