Paying property taxes can be painful for most people. Hearing Lt. Governor Dan Patrick would like to lower the age to 55 for property tax exemptions, his “Operation Double Nickel” plan, sounds good to some.
“My initial thoughts are that I’m excited anytime a politician is looking to help us by reducing our tax burden,” realtor Chandler Crouch said. “So, right off the bat, I like it.”
