A fast-moving fire did a lot of damage to a Fort Worth apartment building this morning.
The first 911 calls to Fort Worth Fire & Rescue came in just past 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Flames and black smoke were jetting from the roof of a three story building at the Hillcrest Apartment Complex near Trinity Boulevard and Hwy 360 a little northwest of Riverside Golf Club.
The first fire crews began pouring on the water but with winds gusting up to 20 – 25 mph, the fire was gaining ground so the call went out for a second and quickly a third alarm…
