Irving Man on Probation Arrested After Multiple Strangulation Incidents Against Girlfriend

IRVING, TX – On December 7, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., an Irving police officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. Delaware Road in South Irving near Senter Park in response to a reported domestic disturbance in progress. Because the incident was ongoing, a 911 dispatcher remained on the line with the caller and provided updates to the responding officer.

Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the caller, identified as Alexis Almand. She reported multiple assaults by her boyfriend of approximately two and a half years, 23-year-old Anthony Mojica-Rojas. Almand provided video evidence from an October 25 incident at the same address, showing her being dragged out of a vehicle by Mojica-Rojas, which she said caused significant pain. She stated that during that incident he later grabbed her by the neck and applied pressure, restricting her ability to breathe. The victim also showed the officer photographs depicting cuts and abrasions consistent with her account.

Almand reported that she called 911 on December 7 after Mojica-Rojas pushed her, causing her to fall and scrape against a drawer, resulting in visible injuries and pain.
