A woman was found shot and killed yesterday in West Dallas, a stark start to the weekend along a stretch of road that has already seen more than its share of trouble this year. Dallas police said officers and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a shooting call in the 1200 block of Singleton Boulevard shortly after 8:30 a.m. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and officials have not released her identity.
