VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — A man was seriously injured after being attacked by two dogs while visiting a friend in Van Zandt County Monday, authorities said.
According to Van Zandt County Sheriff Kevin Bridger, the man entered a room where the dogs were located when they suddenly attacked him just before noon. He suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Dallas for treatment.
Deputies captured the dogs when they arrived at the scene. The animals were later euthanized, and testing will be conducted as part of standard protocol, Bridger said…
