North Richland Hills Home Invasion Suspect Sentenced to 45 Years

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – On December 22, 2025, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office announced that 19-year-old Abdias Kobe Espinoza was sentenced to 45 years in prison after pleading guilty to burglary of a habitation with intent to commit aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery.

The conviction stems from a premeditated armed home invasion on December 3, 2024. Espinoza and two co-defendants posed as DoorDash delivery workers to gain access to a residence in North Richland Hills. Once inside, they pistol-whipped the victim and demanded his cryptocurrency wallet, threatening to kill him and his family. The victim’s wife hid with their children and called 911.

North Richland Hills Police officers responded to the scene, prompting the suspects to flee. A manhunt ensued, and with the assistance of multiple agencies and Air One, all three suspects were apprehended two days later, on December 5, 2024…
