An early-morning explosion at a ChampionX facility in Crowley left a worker injured and airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, according to city officials. The blast hit the company’s artificial-lift site in the 900 block of North Crowley Road at about 5:45 a.m., and the worker suffered burns to the arms and torso.
