ABILENE, Texas — A fatal crash on Interstate 20 claimed the life of a 58-year-old motorcycle rider on December 25, 2025, according to the Abilene Police Department. The incident occurred when a motorcycle traveling eastbound was struck from behind by a semi-truck, which then fled the scene.
The collision, which took place between mile markers 287 and 288, resulted in the motorcycle and its rider being knocked to the ground and subsequently hit by another vehicle.
