DALLAS COUNTY, TX – A Dallas County jury has sentenced 26-year-old Kristian Tyrone Smith to 50 years in prison for a deadly home invasion that began with a house party and ended in gunfire.
The case stems from events on November 4, 2021. That night, 25-year-old Wendon Lekeith Blair was hosting a small house party at his home, attended by seven other people. Among those at the party was Smith’s girlfriend.
Prosecutors said Smith, a long-haul truck driver, had been tracking his girlfriend’s location through his phone. After seeing she was at Blair’s home, Smith drove his semi-truck to the area and parked it about a block away.
