A quiet East Fort Worth home turned into a tragedy yesterday when a 6-year-old boy was pulled from a backyard pool and later died at the hospital, authorities said.
Responding officers found the child unresponsive in the water and began lifesaving efforts before he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death and confirm the boy’s identity as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to CBS News Texas, officers were called just before 2 p.m. to the 8200 block of Fall Crest Drive. When first responders arrived, they found the 6-year-old in the pool and unresponsive.
