FORT WORTH, TX – A Tarrant County jury has delivered a swift and severe verdict against a 28-year-old serial offender, sentencing him to two life terms in prison less than a year after his arrest.
Micheal Christopher Lee, of Fort Worth, was found guilty in the 396th District Court on two counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact. The conviction follows a harrowing case that began with an online interaction and ended with the life imprisonment of a man who targeted multiple victims across North Texas.
The Investigation and Arrest
The case originated on December 29, 2024, when Lee used a social networking app to contact a 16-year-old girl in Arlington. After convincing her to meet in person, the victim left her home in the early hours of December 30. The following day, she bravely disclosed to her mother that Lee had sexually assaulted her.
The Arlington Police Department spearheaded the investigation, leading to Lee’s arrest on January 18, 2025. Initially booked into the Dallas County Jail, he was extradited to Tarrant County on January 30, where he remained in custody at the Tarrant County Corrections Center after bond was denied for two of his charges.
